With the Newest Feature Drop, Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro Finally Begin Receiving the December Update
On the first working Monday of every month, Google releases a new monthly Android update for its Pixel devices (if the first Monday happens to be a holiday in the US, then the release comes on the Tuesday following it).
Although the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have received the December update today, exactly one week later than they should have, something went awry this month.
All of the new features revealed by Google in its December Feature Drop are included in this month’s software update, including the latest security updates.
A few days to a few weeks may be required for the rollout to reach all Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro devices, even though it began today. Be prepared for it to arrive at any moment now, even if it doesn’t.
