There Will Be a Special Coating on the Camera Bump of the Xiaomi 12
This latest rumor isn’t about a Zeiss-branded lens coating, but rather the finish of the camera bump. Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster, claims that the Xiaomi 12’s camera bump design would be unique.
He claims in a Weibo post that the camera bump contains a slew of big camera modules. Even so, it’s likely that Xiaomi will employ the same AG glass coating on it as it does on the back panel in order to disguise it.
It was reported that the company uses innovative coating technology to achieve a certain feel to match the back finish, but no further information was provided by the tipper. Fortunately, the Xiaomi 12 is expected to be unveiled this month.
