The vivo Y02s, a smartphone powered by the Helio P35 chip, has been officially unveiled

Earlier this month, the vivo Y02s leaked in full detail on the company’s website, and now vivo has officially launched the device in the Philippines. The Y02s serves as a successor to the vivo Y01, which launched earlier this year, and both devices share plenty of specs in common.

The Y02s still features a 6.51-inch display with HD+ resolution. The 5MP selfie camera is housed in a waterdrop-style notch, while the rear features a single 8MP camera with an LED flash located in a second ring cutout.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon P35 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The software side is covered by Android 12 with FunTouchOS 12 on top compared to the Y01 (Android 11 Go edition) which uses Funtouch 11.1. You also get a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging.

The vivo Y02s comes in black and blue, and retails for PHP 6,499 ($116) in the sole 3/32GB trim.
