The OnePlus 9RT will have a Touch Sampling Rate of 600Hz and a Bespoke Cooling System, According to Reports
OnePlus’ 9RT model will be announced on October 13th, and we’ve already set that date on our calendars. OnePlus has released new teasers showing off the 9 RT’s cooling system and touch sampling rate.
As the first phone from OnePlus to feature a 600Hz touch sampling rate, the OnePlus 9RT is sure to be impressive. OnePlus claims that the new improvements have reduced click and slide delays by 57% and 47%, respectively. The OnePlus eSports team helped with the development of the phone. In spite of this, the 9RT will keep the same 6.55-inch Samsung E4 display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
A new five-layer cooling system, covering the greatest area yet on a OnePlus handset, has also been revealed by OnePlus. The Snapdragon 888 chipset will require this to function properly.
Graphite sheets make up the improved cooling system, which should provide a 20% increase in heat dissipation efficiency over the OnePlus 9R’s predecessor. OnePlus has also stated that the phone will come in black and silver, and that it will have 7GB of virtual RAM.
