The official IP rating for the Xiaomi 13 Pro has been announced, as shown in a teaser video
On Sunday, December 11th, you can get your hands on a Xiaomi 13 Pro. There will be a new camera design and a stylish green color option, but most significantly, it will have an official ingress protection (IP) rating. In a flashy video uploaded to Weibo, the business stated that the phone would be certified as dust and water resistant.
The camera will be versatile enough to capture images in any setting, including the night sky (something the Xiaomi 12 Pro lacks).
Unless the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) verifies the IP rating, it is illegal to promote a device as ingress protected. The IP53 classification gives affordable Xiaomi phones protection from light dust and splashing water. Like the current flagship Xiaomi 12S Ultra, we anticipate IP68 certification for the Xiaomi 13 Pro, which would indicate the phone could survive in even harsher environments.
Wilderness Green is Xiaomi's flagship color for the 13 Pro.
