The nubia Red Magic 7 is Now 3C Certified and Can Charge at a Maximum of 165W

Since it was 3C certified with 165W charging support, the nubia Red Magic 7 (NX679J) might beat all records for rapid charging on a commercially available smartphone, however ZTE’s nubia launched the Red Magic 6 in March with 66W charging.

The Red Magic 6 Pro and the Red Magic 6s Pro are the fastest-charging nubia smartphones currently on the market. However, in the Chinese models of the phones, you get such speeds because their international models are limited to 66W. Because of this, if nubia decides to release the Red Magic 7 internationally, you may not be able to charge it at 165W.

In spite of this, the 165W charging technology of nubia isn’t the fastest cable charging solution currently available. Xiaomi’s 200W HyperCharge technology demonstrated in May this year, which charged a custom-built Mi 11 Pro battery from flat to 100% in just eight minutes, takes the prize.

Due to its 3C certification and pending regulatory permissions from various agencies, the nubia Red Magic 7 has a better chance of being the fastest charging commercially accessible smartphone at launch than Xiaomi’s 200W HyperCharge technology, which is expected to be mass produced in June 2022.

Red Magic 7 is expected to be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, according to tipster Digital Chat Station.
