Qualcomm is Rumored to Have Renamed its Flagships SoCs
A few years ago, Qualcomm’s ever-expanding lineup of chipsets started to overlap, making it difficult to tell how two chipsets compare by their names. According to reports, Intel plans to address this by changing the name scheme for its next flagship processor, which will be unveiled next month.

Assured tipsters Qualcomm’s new top dog will be called “Snapdragon 8 Gen 1” instead of the previously rumored “Snapdragon 898,” according to Digital Chat Station and Ice Universe.
