Huawei said on Weibo that the public release of HarmonyOS 3.0 would occur on July 27. There will be an announcement on Huawei’s “evolution” and “future” on Chinese social media next Wednesday at 19:30 (local time), according to a post.
Minutes later, the company tweeted that the same day and time will also see the unveiling of their new Smart Office, indicating that this was not simply a local event but rather a significant one for the brand internationally.
The new features of HarmonyOS 3.0 and which Huawei devices will be updated are largely unknown at this time. There was talk of a big launch in September, but that won’t happen until after the May beta is finished and tested.
Just last month, during Huawei’s Smart Office Launch, the company introduced updated Matebooks and the first iteration of the Freebuds Pro 2. The Mate 50 Pro cameraphone, or at least the nova 10 midrangers, would be welcome additions to this summer-themed event.
