Two forthcoming wearable devices from Oppo are detailed in a new report from Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The Oppo Watch 3 will be available in three models (OWW211/212/213), with the goal of extending the battery life of the device. In the meanwhile, the Oppo Band 2 will be available in both black and blue variants, and it will support NFC payments and SpO2 measurements. Focusing on new flagships, new equipment, and new systems is where the attention turns in the second half of the year, according to DCS (machine translated). One possible release window for the new wearables is the second half of 2022.
The Oppo Watch 2 debuted with a 1.91-inch square display and rounded sides, taking clear design cues from the Apple Watch. As for internal storage and processing capability, it was equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM on the Snapdragon Wear 4100 Platform. A 510 mAh battery and Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0 are included.
