Dimensity 9000 is Twice as Expensive as its Predecessor

A new high-performance flagship processor from Qualcomm is likely to be unveiled at Tech Summit the following week. MediaTek, on the other hand, unveiled the Dimensity 9000 last week, the first 4nm smartphone chipset. This new MediaTek chipset is expected to cost roughly twice as much as its predecessor, according to Digital Chat Station. We should anticipate to see more expensive high-end smartphones driven by the new processor than those powered by Dimensity 1200.

Qualcomm’s undisclosed S8 Gen1 is still more expensive than MediaTek’s upcoming flagship chipset despite roughly double the price of the Dimensity 9000, according to the report’s assertion. A report from Digital Chat Station claims that we’ll see smartphones powered by the Dimensity 7000 5nm chipset in the first quarter of 2022.

“S8 Gen 1” may possibly be “Snadpragon 8Gx Gen 1” instead, according to a recent report. When Qualcomm kicks off its annual Tech Summit on November 30th, we’ll know for sure what the new flagship processor is called.

MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 9000 at its Summit last week, making a dramatic shift from Dimensity 1200 to Dimensity 9000. MediaTek is expected to deliver a new family of smartphone chipsets in the near future.

Dimensity 9000 chipset-powered devices are expected to be on the market in February, a recent report claims. This is in line with MediaTek’s prediction of Q1 2022 for the release of new chipset-powered products. Xiaomi’s 12 might be the first gadget to use Qualcomm’s new chipset, if that happens before the year is over.
