The Honor X40 series was released officially just last month, and now there are rumors that a third phone, the Honor X40 GT, will be joining the fold. Multiple tipsters in China have said that the phone’s Snapdragon 888 processor caused the moniker to trend over the weekend.
The chipset, which features a powerful 2.84 GHz Cortex-X1 CPU core, three Cortex-A78 cores at 2.42 GHz, and four efficient Cortex-A55 units at 1.8 GHz, was the most popular among early 2021 flagships.
According to rumors, Honor will unveil the midrange X series’ performance smartphone, the X40 GT, this month. The release of the phone, however, may be eclipsed by the rumored releases of two additional devices: the Honor 80 series and the foldable Magic V2.
