The Pixel 6 Launch Event has just been Set for October 19th by Google

For years, Google has held a hardware event in October to unveil its new Pixel phones. The Pixel 5A and Pixel 6 have already been unveiled for this year. It’s evident, though, from an announcement of a virtual event scheduled for October 19th at 1PM ET/ 10AM PT, that the corporation still has more to say publicly.

Google:

On October 19, we’re officially introducing you to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro—the completely reimagined Google phones. Powered by Tensor, Google’s first custom mobile chip, they’re fast, smart and secure. And they adapt to you. #Pixel6Launch

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are still shrouded in mystery, even though Google was ahead of certain leaks this year with its early Pixel announcements. We’re interested in learning more about Google’s Tensor processor in the Pixel 6, which merits further investigation. We’re also eagerly awaiting news of Google’s first folding-screen Pixel, which is expected to be unveiled in 2021.

In addition, we’re still waiting for Google to confirm when Android 12 will be released in a formal announcement. However, Google was only willing to state that a push for Pixel smartphones will begin in the “next few weeks,” which we’ve already examined.
