This first mass-market electric car demonstrated that electric vehicles could be fun and eco-friendly to drive, as well as practical for daily use and even long trips. Tesla Model S. Even better in 2021, the Editors' Choice-winning Tesla Model S Plaid will do all of this even more impressively. On a single charge, the Tesla Model S can go up to 412 miles and produce acceleration that equals some of the best supercars on the market. Despite the introduction of more practical and more inexpensive variants like the Model Y SUV and the Model 3 sedan, Tesla's flagship vehicle remains the Model S. That said, it's roomy for four adults, although its premium price tag doesn't justify the price tag. Model S is no longer a one-of-a-kind vehicle, but for many consumers, the car's athletic chassis, Ludicrous driving mode, and remarkable range are enough to persuade them to switch to electric vehicles.
