Apple just announced a press conference for September 14. Titled ‘California Streaming’, the event will be a pre-recording like the last few events and will be available across multiple platforms.

Since it’s a September announcement, we can be certain that Apple will be introducing its new iPhone models in the “iPhone 13” range. Production problems are believed to be the reason Apple failed to release a 5G iPhone last year; nonetheless, the company does seem on track to make a 2021 launch.

While there isn’t much information available about the upcoming iPhones, there is a rumor of a higher refresh rate display that will probably be limited to the Pro models. You can expect common features like improved cameras and faster chips.

It’s worth betting that the company will be coming out with an improved Apple Watch as well. The newest edition was released in September of last year and contained an ECG, a blood oxygen sensor, and a cheaper base variant.

Apple is expected to be releasing dates for all of its operating systems, including iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, and macOS Monterey. This is according to tradition.

There’s always a chance that new Mac models will be introduced, especially with the next generation of the M1 chipset rumored to be on the horizon. The September events are known for focusing on the iPhone and Apple Watch, but they still differ each year.

Apple.com will live stream the California event on their website, which will work on both mobile and desktop browsers. You could also stream the event through an Apple TV, or through the Apple TV app on any device.
