According to a New Sony Teaser, the Next-generation Xperia Will have a Camera That Can be Attached to the Phone
Sony is preparing to unveil a new Xperia smartphone on October 26th, as you may have already heard. The phone’s identity is still a mystery, but Sony has released a teaser video to build anticipation for its upcoming launch.
One content creator calls it a “camera with a phone attached,” while another says the dedicated shutter button is “game-changing” for him. The video features several professional photographers who praise previous Sony models like the Xperia 1 III, Xperia 5 II, and the Xperia Pro. It also has some details about the yet-to-be-announced model, with a photographer calling the dedicated shutter button a “game changer.”
As the teaser video comes to a close, filmmaker Philip Bloom describes the device in question as having “the best smartphone camera he’s ever used.” But even without a look, we can guess that it’ll be a camera-centric phone with excellent results in both stills and video. If Sony doesn’t give us some more teasers before next week’s event, we’ll be completely in the dark going into it.
