Instagram Has Added a New Feature That Allows Users to Report Issues by Shakily Shaking Their Phones

“Rage Shake” is one of two new features that have been added to Instagram in an effort to improve the user experience, said Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri Wednesday. Shaking the phone while the app is open will prompt a pop-up screen that asks, “Did something go wrong?” and provides a place for you to describe the problem.

Mosseri said that this new feature will help Instagram prioritize bug fixes by providing it with user feedback. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us,” he said. “We’ll get someone to look at your situation.

A “finally” feature, as described by Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri, is the ability to delete a single photo from the carousel. It’s something users have been requesting, he said, and the company finally got around to shipping it.

“You can now go and pick one that you don’t like — maybe you’re not that into it anymore,” he explained in a video posted to Twitter. With a photo carousel open, tap the three-dot menu at the top right and select edit; then, swiping to a specific photo in the carousel will bring up a delete icon on its left.
