For $252, You Can Get the Nokia X100, a T-Mobile-exclusive Version of the X10

The Nokia X100 is a T-Mobile and Metro exclusive Android smartphone. On November 19, Verizon will begin selling a $252 5G phone, which will expand the carrier’s low-cost 5G options.

Essentially the Nokia X10, the phone has the Snapdragon 480 chipset (the original, not the plus) paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, making it a 5G-capable phone. Free microSD storage and 15 GB of Google Drive are included. The n25, n41, n66, and n71 5G bands are all supported by the phone.

6.67″ IPS LCD (1080p+, Gorilla Glass 3) front-facing camera with 16MP selfie camera. ZEISS optics are used on the 48MP main camera on the back, along with 5MP ultra wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors.

On a single charge, the 4,470 mAh battery can last for two days, and the 18W power adapter must be used to recharge it. A 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and Wi-Fi 5 are also included. For Bluetooth headsets, aptX Adaptive and aptX Voice are supported, while FM radio is supported for wired headsets. In addition to a single loudspeaker, the phone has two microphones (one with OZO Spatial Audio capture and the other with wind noise reduction).

It’s worth noting that the Nokia G50 is currently on sale for $270 (normally $300), but it only has a 720p+ screen. The Nokia XR20 for $550 is more similar in terms of hardware.

There is no official confirmation yet that the Nokia X100 will receive OS updates for three years and monthly security patches as part of Nokia’s X-series, but the phone is expected to run Android 11 out of the box.
